Meet the Inspector
My name is Shane Grove, born and raised in Duchess, Alberta. My family has lived in Duchess since my grandpa moved here in 1948. My wife and I made a decision to raise our family in this community because we love it.
With every inspection I perform, I am not only putting my reputation on the line, I am putting my family name on it. Whether you are moving down the block, from out of province, or are new to Canada, I would be honoured to be involved in your home purchase.
My background in construction, agriculture, and trucking (Grove Fresh Water) has provided a good foundation for my career in home inspections. I have completed the Carson Dunlop training material and trained extensively under the mentorship of a senior home inspector. He once told me:
“If you’re not learning something on every inspection, you are not inspecting hard enough.”
I founded Grove Home Inspections in 2019. To maintain my associate standing in APHIS (Alberta Professional Home Inspectors), I attend numerous training days every year. This enables me to be on the cutting edge of the inspection industry. I truly love the process and challenges involved with home inspections!
When I am not working, you can find me chasing after my four children, or volunteering as a coach or a team driver. Left to my own devices, I enjoy a hike at Dinosaur Park or a day on Lake Newell.
